Behind the scenes at yesterday’s Food Project shoot inspired by ‘Sushi’…
More sneaky behind the scene pictures I took of the makeup,hair & nails I created at yesterday’s Sushi photo-shoot! This is probably one of my favourite looks from the whole collection I have crested so far and of course this time round I got to do everything like the earliest look from the project- from designing the look, making the nails, and then finally doing the hair and makeup and with help from my amazing assistant Grace Coole Green who is a regular makeup assistant of mine that made this possible, and to the wonderful talented photographer friend of mine Rich Hinton who took some amazing shots of the look !
Can’t wait to show you more images of the shoot as well telling you how I created each element to this look!

ES HORRIBLE, asi horrible tener que irte de donde estabas. Ya que tienes todo, te lo quitan. Asi, literal. O sea, es como la milesima vez que me mudo, bueno talvez no tanto, pero o sea, de estar en EU a Mexico a EU a Mexico otra vez?! En serio?! Ya estaba demasiado acostumbrada a mi vida anterior. Me arrebatan todo. Se que es por el bien familiar, pero digo, y yo que? Mi vida que?
Lo que mas me duele son mis amigas. Su perdida. Toda high school con ellas…y de repente PUUFF todo al bottom of the ocean, like FOREVER. Ya no se que hacer. Les dije que me iba y pues… en vez de aprovechar el tiempo conmigo, se empezaron a alejar. Yo creo que es para hacerce la idea de que yo ya no iba a estar ahi. O por que ya no les importo. Quiza, espero que algun dia se acuerden de mi, ya no se que hacer. Son de lo mas importante en mi vida, y ya casi ni hola me dicen. Cuando ya no me tengan enfrente no se que va a pasar.

MANICURE MUSE: Honor AW’12
We all know who to turn to for epic wins season after season (I’m looking at you, Prabal), but they all had to start somewhere, right? Half the fun of NYFW is checking out the newbies on the scene, so, with that, let me introduce Honor designed by Giovanna Randall. This collection makes Honor’s third season and there’s no end in sight. Standout looks included the wool crepe dress series, a floral printed sheer gown and high-collared svelte jackets. While my favorite look was the drop-waisted sheer organza dress, this look was Miss Ladyfinger eye candy I simply could not pass up.
To emulate, I used Mitzi by Zoya and a black nail art brush.
To get these ladyfingers:
1. Paint your nail lime green
2. Tape around the outside of your nail
3. Using a black nail art brush, paint short strokes (on one side of your nail) horizontally towards the center of your nail
4. Repeat for the other side
5. Paint a black line down the center of your nail using the same short strokes as before horizontally
6. Top it off with Seche Vite Top Coat
